If you did, you would have followed the story line from Bete Noir and you would understand the phases that all the characters were going through and how the story went the way it did : )

I just have one question for you...did you actually sit and watch ncis from the start of season one straight through to season seven...and i mean all the episodes...in order??

its pretty bluntly put but Ziva is all of those things. She is not an American which is apparantly a requirement to apply to be an NCIS agent, she is certainly a liar - Ari - She is incredibly self centered, she came out pretty low in the case solving stakes that were worked out through the summer and she has supposedly killed more people that she can count, not counting the kid in the elevator and ignoring her screwing up the Rivkin investigaiton into the Ice Agent's murder.

I've seen the episodes....in order & out of order...not really seeing the point you are trying to make. She barely fit as a liasion & definitely does NOT fit as an agent. way too many plot holes to try to make it work. & several really good plot developments were harmed in the effort.

Whether you like it or not, Ziva is an investigator. She has always been a good investigator. Now, as an agent on the other hand, yes I will give you credit there because shes not perfect. People have pointed out before her flaws and Im not going to deny them. But don't sit there and act as if she didn't contribute anything good to the team at all. Im just saying.

I'm trying to think of things that Ziva does that make her crucial to the NCIS team. . .

.

She's pretty good at interrogating (But so are Tony and Gibbs and even McGee when he wants to be. Ithink overall, Tony and Gibbs are the two best interrogators though both have their own styles.) .

.

She is a good fighter - hand to hand (So is Gibbs)

.

She can throw knives (so can Tony),

.

She's a good shot ( Gibbs is a sniper. Tony is a decent shot (Requiem). I hope McGee has improved since season 3)

.

She has connections to Mossad (which kind of came back to bite them all in the toosh later)

.

She can speak multiple languages (Tony can speak Spanish, Gibbs can speak sign language and Russian, possibly french at the least. Tim can speak Klingon) . Shecomes in handy with the languages Tony, Gibbs and Timcan't speak.

She can invesitgate crime scenes (That they all can do)

.

She often finds thing crucial to the case (not really, or not as much as the others if the gigantic list we made during the summer is any indication),

She shows great bravery/loyalty to the team(HeckNo in Season 6),

.

She's a fast driver (So is Gibbs. And that's not necessarily a good thing)

.

She has a photographic memory (apparently not after season 3).

.

She can disengage bombs. That she can do (the others can't, or at least we haven't seem them do it). And she knows some languages they don't. That's all I can come up with.

She can dance and she can sing!! Ok let me stop.

She even admitted in Shalom that she wasn't just an assassin anymore. Nobody is perfect, and I don't expect her to be perfect. True ,she hasn't always been good at investigating ,but McGee wasn't either ,and like McGee she has her strong points.Tony and Gibbs have always been the real investigators.

You forget, she can follow orders, or at least the ones she wants that suit her. She can kill unarmed and restrained children. She's probably the best liar on the team. When Madam Director was alive she was using her as her contact, so I don't know if she has contacts any more, unless she can talk to the dead.

True, no telling who she may kill if they annoy her. Must be hard for Tony to work with the princess on his six.

Shes killed an unarmed and restrained child before?? Because if she has, I would seriously have to reevaluate my opinion of her.

As far as any team member and their worth ,not once has any member solved the crime by them selves ,it is a team effort,at times it is Ducky or Abby that has the evidence that leads to some movement in the case.Ziva has always done what ever she could as has McGee,Tony or Gibbs ,and it shows even Gibbs does not always have all the answers.Each member works as a team and not one of them is more important than the other ,as Gibbs knows ,why ? cause he is a Marine and that is how it is ,if Gibbs felt she was not worthy she wouldn't be there .
